Growing up as the daughter of Hispanic parents with Eastern European heritage, Yemenite uncle and cousins, African American godparents and studying Indian Art History in college, I have fallen in love with the varied ethnic beauties present in our multi-cultured world.
Each of the unique ethnic communities presents with its own challenges and desires for obtaining a harmonious nasal appearance.
Fortunately, vast experience with nasal surgery amongst these different ethnicities allows me to understand my patient’s needs and grant me the skill to achieve it.
For instance, wide noses with poorly defined tips can be helped tremendously with a more refined upper portion of the nose and a sculpting but structurally sound approach to the tip. Droopy tips can benefit from repositioning which can create a lasting and natural result.
All of these nasal enhancements can be made while still respecting the patient’s cultural identity. A natural beautiful result is always the ultimate goal.
