Question:
Do you routinely prescribe antibiotics when undergoing a brow lift? Are there antibiotics taken before and/or after surgery and is there a specific antibiotic that you use?
Answer:
Yes we prescribe antibiotics for all brow lift procedures. Antibiotics are take the night before and for 7 days post surgery. We prescribe 500mg of Duricef . For those who are allergic to penicillin we prescribe Z-pack to be taken as directed. Posted by Maureen Ruthman, New York City's Office Manager
