I’m Asian and I have a slightly flat nose that needs a little lift. I’m researching rhinoplasty options and I’ve been looking into the pros and cons of using ear cartilage, rib, silicone, and Gore-Tex. My doctor suggested the use of ear cartilage to raise my nose tip and Gore-Tex for the bridge. Based on your expertise, what do you suggest and advise?

For a subtle, effective, but natural change to your nose, injectable fillers like Restylane or Radiesse can give your nose a temporary lift or an implant can give you a permanent solution. Silicone dorsal implants are excellent and long-lasting, safe and effective, and I have been using them for many years. The key is to find a caring and experienced physician with whom you feel comfortable. Good luck!
