I just turned 16 and I have a deviated septum, which makes my lips slightly asymmetrical. I also have large nostrils, a hump and wave, and a bulbous tip. I’d like to undergo rhinoplasty in Vancouver in the coming months to correct the symmetry of my nose and help improve my self-confidence. Is this a possibility for me or do I have to go in and see if I have finished growing? Thanks!
Answer:
It is not uncommon for sixteen year olds to undergo rhinoplasty. However, you do need parental consent to do so. Always make sure you find a board certified facial plastic surgeon that you and your parents are comfortable with.
