I am 33 and two months ago I had a mandible silicone implant removed. I am now looking for a procedure (like a facelift) that will reattach my muscle to its original position. My doctor explained the procedure by saying: “If you need immediate correction, I suggest an intraoral approach to pull down the redundant skin onto the underlying muscle.” What are your thoughts on this?
Answer:
I could better advise you with a little more information on where you find a deficit. However, once an implant is removed, the face may definitely appear older due to the lack of volume and the loss of muscle attachment. I would recommend you schedule a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon in your area.
