I am 24 year old and I have dents in my cheeks. Where did these come from and can they be removed without surgery?

Acne and chicken pox usually cause facial dents because they leave scars behind after the condition is gone. You have many options to eliminate these indentations. Facial filler injections of Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, and Radiesse can be used to fill in the depressions. By utilizing a substance called hyaluronic acid they work as natural skin plumping agents. You can also use fat grafting where fat is taken from another part of your body and then transferred to fill in the dented areas. Fat grafting does require some minor surgery. Then there is another option called resurfacing where special dermabrasion equipment, chemicals, or lasers (the CO2 fractionated laser is thought to be best) work to smooth complexion.
